Gold Tone MicroBass Rubber / Polymer Strings

I really wanted to like these, and in a way I do. I put them on my ubass, and the sound is, indeed as advertised, very much like a double bass. Loved that. THEN! I tried them on my m-25 FL Gold Tone Microbass. No! No! No! Incurable sting noise and stickiness. I tried every things. Every guitar string lube known to humanity, noise gate, EQ adjustments. Got get it better, but still tons of finger noise. A much better idea is Thunderbrowns. Sound great, very little finger noise. Not as much as a DB as with the Thunderguts, but all in all a vast improvement. Not sure what it does to my warranty. Going to put on silverbacks then someone gets them in stock to be in full compliance. But, I’d rather keep the Thunderbrowns.
