Gibson ES-175 copy made by Walkin' Guitars in Japan. It's a 16" all maple laminate archtop with two set humbuckers.
Creator Description:
I've always been very fond of the way Thomastik puts their string sets together, with relatively heavier high E and B strings, somewhat lighter G, D, and A, and then a beefier low E. Their JS113 set really nails the balance of feel across the strings perfectly. For my ES-175 copy, however, the pure nickel strings don't really have quite the sound that I'm looking for, whereas the stainless steel construction of the Chromes captures it perfectly. I put this set together in order to get closer to the balanced feel of the Thomastik strings while using the D'Addarios, and it works very well for me.
