I have an 8 string Hamer, a Fender piccolo and a 10 string Dean piccolo bass. I needed some strings just a wee bit smaller and these worked perfectly ! Very zingy, crisp tone !

These strings are ideal for the upper course of your eight string bass. They are lighter than any other set on the market, and allow you to decrease the tension on your eight string neck when used with a lighter gauge regular set. My bass and my fingers thank you. Beyond that, they sound superb.
