D'Addario Kaplan Cello A 4/4 Medium Tension KS511 4/4M, Single String

This string is great. It has a lush ringing tone that gives and gives while under pressure, and can be played pianissimo with sweet overtones. It sings in all ranges. This string is vastly under-rated in the cello world. It's every bit as good--if not better--than A-strings costing 2X as much. Fantastic A-string and a great value. As well, great service from SMB.
