D'Addario Kaplan Cello G 4/4 Medium Tension KS513 4/4M, Single String

This a a great G-string. It elimnates the snarl from previous very famous Tungsten g-string, yet maintains the rich and warm projecting base. This G-strings lacks nothing in comparison with the best and more famous strings from Europe. I cannot figure out why more cellists don't use them, other than they don't have the Euro-culture vibe as they are U.S. made. You are missing out if you don't at least try them.

The D'Addario Kaplan Cello strings are amazing! I have an entry level cello and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for an intermediate or advanced cello, so I purchased these advanced level strings. Even though the strings cost more than my cello is worth, my cello now sounds excellent and I won't hesitate to play it in public. I am currently borrowing an intermediate level cello with Helicore strings, and as a comparison, my beginner level cello with the Kaplan strings has better tone quality than the intermediate cello with the Helicore strings.
