Luthier Concert Silver Set 30 MHT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Belinda BennettI can see why these strings have good reviews. I have tried a few different types of strings now and have made notes on them over the times I have played with them in the quest of looking for the "holy grail" of strings that suit my playing and my guitar. Everyone plays their individual style and every guitar is different, but these strings seem to have a general consensus amongst classical and flamenco players to be reliable, produce a good sound, and last. I haven't been disappointed by the Luthier strings. They were among the first ones I tried and they do have a great sound. They settle in very quickly and work very well on my flamenco guitar. I find them a pleasure to play with and listen to. I gave them 5 stars because of this, and my quest for the ultimate string continues...but I know I have a couple of good choices to fall back on with a set of Luthier strings in my guitar case. -
Aranjuez Spanish Silver 200 LT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Belinda BennettThese strings are awesome for a beginner/novice player - as that is what I class myself as. I am not saying that these strings wouldn't suit advanced or professional players, but since I am reviewing them from my perspective, it is important for people to know that. They are labelled as low gauge (which I translate to "normal" tension), and these strings are very responsive and can last the distance for wear and tear. I enjoy the feel when i play with these strings- they are easy to play with and have a great flamenco sound which is very old school. I have a traditional flamenco blanca guitar with ebony pegs and these strings work very well, hold their tune and sound amazing on this guitar. -
Galli Genius GR105 NT Flamenco Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Belinda BennettClear trebles and wound silver basses - these strings have great playability and I have has them on my flamenco guitar for about a month now and they still sound good. They hold up well to fast playing and give a great sound. Punchy and balanced at the same time. I am probably classed as a novice (not a beginner but still a ways away from being an intermediate player) so I prefer medium over higher tension strings to get a sound that works for me, but these strings play very well for a good flamenco sound. -
Hannabach Buleria Flamenco Medium Tension, Full Set
By: Belinda BennettAlthough these strings say medium tension, I found them to be a lot higher than other brands of strings that say medium tension. Apparently this is common for the Hannabach guages to be thicker than average. The strings themselves were not bad - the trebles had a great sound even though they are a little on the thicker side. The basses were ok but I found them to be less responsive and difficult to play fast falsettas with ligados. I have been playing flamenco guitar for a couple of years so I am by no means at a professional level but for me I think there are better strings out there for the money. -
D'Addario EJ45FF Pro Arte Carbon NT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Norman SpencerWake up your guitar! Bright clear trebles and powerful bases make my inexpensive solid cedar topped guitar sound verrry expensive. Definitely worth a try. I have used quite a variety of string from different makers, but none has impressed me like the Pro Arte Carbons. My family notice the difference immediately, without any prompting. -
Abel Armrest Original - Armauflage - for classical or acoustic guitar
By: Ben RicheyI've been using the armrest for my weekend gigs for 2 weeks now. In the past two weekends I have clocked 15 hours of live playing. LOVING the armrest! Does not budge and fits like a glove. It makes playing long hours so comfortable. -
Elixir 11027 Nanoweb Coated 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Cus Lt 11-52
By: TIAGO JARDIMFor me, this is the best set to acoustic guitars ever! I already tried D'Addario, Ernie Ball, Martin, Takamine, Rotosound, GHS and a few others. All these strings sounds really good, but only for a few days, if you are a professional musician, this is not a problem, but if you are an amateur musician that don't have sponsors and don't have strings for free, can be frustrating. With Elixir, you can spend U$12.00 in a set and 3 months later, your strings are still sounding very good, like a new set, because these strings are anti-rust. This way, you can save money! By the way, I use this set in a Takamine Jumbo body tuning in D# and sounds amazing! -
John Pearse 710NM Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings NewMed 13-55
By: Christopher BecknellThese are hands down the BEST Medium gauge string you can find! The tone is always consistently brilliant, balanced and even right out of the package. After about 2 hours of playing they settle into a nice warm, but very good projecting set of strings. New Mediums stay in tune better than regular Mediums due to the slightly higher gauge of the mid register. This means less tuning that darn G string! Great for flatpicking but also great for fingerstyle open tunings too because of the slightly higher gauge adjustment. The best set for DADGAD I have ever used! -
DR Strings RPML-11 RARE Phosphor-Bronze Acoustic Guitar Cust-L 11-50
By: Christopher BecknellThese are the most inconsistent DR strings I've ever tried. I used SunBeams in the past with better luck than these. DR's are still handmade leading to inconsistent quality control. I had to go through 2 packs of this type to get a functioning set. both the Low E and D string were false in the first set I tried. They sound decent but are nowhere as loud as other brands of Phosphor Bronze. -
Strings By Mail Crystal Glass Nail File, 3.5 inches

Aquila Ambra 900 Classical Guitar Strings 55C, Full Set
By: Nicholas CiraldoGreat strings for the style. Good tension, moderately scratchy trebles (as per the style). Really easy to play but impossible to push -- buzz like crazy otherwise, -
Luthier Concert Gold Set 40 MHT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Nicholas CiraldoThese strings are nice and have a good sound and tension, but the winding on the basses are such that the nails really scratch a a lot against them. Too scratchy to tolerate.. -
RC Strings DC10 JG Dynamic Carbon HT Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Shannon RobardsSounded okay, not as bright as Savarez equivalent trebles, Top E de-laminated within a week of light playing in mild weather. Poor materials or quality control, either way not worth the time and money. -
Snark SN8 Super Tight Tuner with metronome, black SN-8
By: Alan NortonA very accurate quick and easy to use tuner. Inexpensive. Problem: the ball joint that holds and permits adjustment of the head of the tuner broke after six months. -
La Bella 820 Elite Flamenco Guitar Strings (Red Trebles) MT, Full Set
By: Rick SimmonsAfter reading about these strings on different forums, I had to try them on my flamenco guitar. The basses are deep and gutsy. The trebles project. One of the best flamenco strings made - Much more musical than the "2001" label. -
Rosette Ivory Fret Markers with Black Ring, pack of 9 dots
By: Bradley McDowellI'm glad I found this product before I paid someone to put permanent markers on my guitar. These went on very easily and quickly (less than five minutes to apply five dots). They look great. I've had them on for about two weeks, and there's no sign they're rubbing off (and I have not been terribly careful about rubbing against them as I've handled the guitar). I'm very happy with them, and you cannot beat the price for what you get. Highly recommend. -
D'Addario EJ44TT Dynacore XHT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set
By: Ian BrownI have a double back, double arch, lattice braced classical guitar that I felt just wasn't fulfilling it's potential with regard to volume and projection. I saw a good YouTube review for these strings and thought I would give them a try. Wow!, what a transformation! They settled in really quickly and the tone and volume is tremendous. I was initially worried about the G 3rd which sounded duller than the other trebles (a common phenomenon) but once it had fully stretched and settled it came alive. If you are happy that your guitar can handle 'extra hard' tension strings, you must give these a try. Simply amazing at under $10. -
Rosette Diamond Guitar Bridge Beads Set of 7, Matte Black
