I have a theoretical study of string tension, tested by great musicians. All of them very much like the strings with these tensions and scale length of 340mm - 360mm. These strings, in the mandolin intonation, make the sound great! It is a hybrid between guitar and mandolin, given totally to Brazilian musicality.

This set was created to flow in tension response, magnetic response and proper string vibration in sync for lead players giving the set an Unwound 4th instead of a Wound 4th in essence.

Warm tone, no string noise, and they do indeed last much longer than less expensive strings. I think the 10s sound a bit better than the 11s. The 11s sound just a bit dead to me personally. I play through a Vintage Sound Amp voiced for jazz by Sound Island Music. Very clean with a lot of head room

I use the Savarez High Tension strings for balance, better intonation, clarity of voices and overall warmth - they are my everyday strings.

I use the La Bella Studio strings expressly for recording. Also great for balance, clarity and warmth but the primarily objective is to reduce finger whisper in the wound strings.

I have never heard such an immense difference using this string from any other. Absolutely all aspects improved at once: tuning, sound quality, playability, musicality, volume. It made my guitar sound a different instrument.

This unique instrument needs a lot of strings, and to tune better. The RC Strings 'RM60' trebles are the best strings I've known for period instruments, and help me sing as I need.
