Year 1972 Instrument type Classical Builder / Manufacturer Hernandis Instrument Model Grade #1 Top wood Pine Side wood Rosewood Back wood Rosewood Player Tom Salvatori StringsI use the La Bella Studio strings expressly for recording. Also great for balance, clarity and warmth but the primarily objective is to reduce finger whisper in the wound strings. -

Year 2009 Instrument type Classical Builder / Manufacturer Hugues Boivin Instrument Model Baroque Theorboed Top wood Spruce Side wood Maple Back wood Maple Player Alvaro Henrique StringsThis unique instrument needs a lot of strings, and to tune better. Year 2002 Instrument type Classical Builder / Manufacturer Humphrey Instrument Model Millennium Top wood Cedar Side wood Rosewood Back wood Rosewood Player Linda Kessler? StringsI like the consistency of D'Addario strings and how well they hold a tune right away. Their tone is nice but doesn't get in the way of the sound of the Humphrey, who showed his guitars with D'Addario strings! -

Year 2013 Instrument type Acoustic Builder / Manufacturer Huss & Dalton Instrument Model OO Top wood Spruce Side wood Bubinga Back wood Bubinga Player Melvin Hughes StringsThis guitar is a bit of a small canon, regardless of strings. But when I strung it up with the D'Addario Nickel Bronze NB1252BT (Light 12-52) it seems to be even more so. The strings are very nuanced with excellent tone and clarity. Even on this small-bodied guitar, they can produce quite a bit of volume without exceeding the tops headroom. The strings maintain tuning very well even when capoed. They are comfortable to play and have a decent life span, not as long as EXP's but still very good in my experience. -
Year 2015 Instrument type Acoustic Builder / Manufacturer Ibanez Instrument Model AW54-OPN Top wood Okoume Side wood Okoume Back wood Okoume Player Mike Stone StringsThe D'Addario XT phosphor bronze strings were installed by Ibanez from new. These strings perform well. The AW OPN series by Ibanez by nature (natural, i.e. no lacquer finish) tends to sound not as bright as other guitars. These strings deliver the bright highs and nice, full midrange without sacrificing the deep, mellow lows that I expect from this guitar. A good fit. -
