Regal Blue strings come highly recommended by Kolya, and I also find that they bring out the best in my guitar. These strings offer a wide range of color possibilities and excellent projection. Personally, I replace the third string with the Savarez Alliance KF 543J, which makes the transition between the second and fourth strings smoother.

The strings are very comfortable to play. Despite the pleasant tension they have the powerful sound of high tension strings. The sound can easily be formulated. The harmonics are very clear and the colors are unique!

I prefer these strings as firstly they provide great sound on my guitar, and although it is not anywhere near a great professional guitar, it makes it sound close to one! It also has amazing, crisp trebles and basses, lasts for a good period of time, and feels good on my fingers.

The top is carved very thin for responsiveness and volume, but the top flexibility accentuates bass response. The Savarez corum basses are not as strong as the Cantiga, while the HT Alliance carbon trebles offset the bass response of the negra. I have not been able to find any other combination that provides such a balanced sound for this model.

Savarez strings have a great tone for their price, intonation is always spot on on my guitars, and the last a long time compared to others in the price range. The Corums seem to have a warmer tone than the Alliance sets.
