Excellent evenness and clarity across the range of the instrument. Carbon 3rd blends perfectly with other strings and eliminates the normal issues with that string.

Bright trebles, balanced basses. Able to coax a lot of color from these strings. Good volume without having to overstrike.

I love the delicacy, the sensitivity and the power of the trebles, it is nicely balanced with the warm and clear bass strings.

The guitar is really bright, which I love, and the carbons accentuate that. Also, D'Addarios are consistent. Every pack I've ever used has been high quality.

Delivered with EJ45 D'Addarios. I recently tried the rectified EJ30s, which gave the instrument a new and very focused voice. I play a lot of Bach with all of his multiple voicings. As I play, each voice is distinct and clear. I've been playing for 63 years.
