Puerta de Tierra is well known in guitar literature through a transcription by the Spanish guitarist and arranger S. Garcia-Fortea, a pupil of Tarrega. When I went back to the original piano score I found that Fortea had considerably changed settings in his guitar version, even to the point of substituting chords in a few instances. I couldn't see why he would have done that so I created my own version, which I feel more closely captures the brilliance of the original score.
