The Alhambra 9P-US is very similar to the 8P-US, but in a deeper body to give it an even fuller sound. Like the 8P-US, this instrument is built by a smaller, more experienced team at the Alhambra facility who shares their experience and knowledge. This is a beautifully crafted, all solid, concert-quality classical guitar. It has a wonderful tone, very loud and very playable. This is an excellent choice for the serious guitar player.
The Alhambra 9P-US is a balanced guitar in all aspects. It's robust, with concert measures and a perfect action to the strings. The string action is high enough to make the guitar sing yet it's extremely comfortable. The bass, middle and treble are well balanced. This guitar features a bridge-shape bracing pattern to give the top maximum volume and incredible projection, attributes of a great guitar.
The saddle and nut for this instrument are made of bone, a traditional material with exceptional sound transmission capabilities. The nitro lacquer finish that is applied to the top is a varnish that increases vibration capacity. A feature that together with the selection of woods and style of construction, produces a deep sound.
Included is the Alhambra Case - 9557 from the Italian company Marco Magi. It is made from polyurethane with a leather-like finish making it super strong yet light to carry. The case weighs about 8 pounds and is luxury fitted with soft cloth and has plenty of room for accessories.
You will fall in love with the first string of this guitar, by its brightness and quality that provides many possibilities for interpretation. The possibilities this instrument offers are limited only by your imagination.
