Polylogue for solo flute explores the communication of several voices structured on a monophonic instrument. A “would-be” polyphonic flute thus creates monologue, dialogue, and finally, a polylogue, in a very improvisational setting. The melodic structure is an amalgam of blues and Indian modes. The piece is dedicated to Stana Krstajic.
