Description
This piece was composed for the 2025 summer workshop "Guitar Encounters in Six Fours". The participants (aged 12 to 17) are students from the Toulon-Provence-Méditerranée Conservatory with 2 to 9 years of instrumental experience.
The composition addresses specific themes for each of them: a tailor-made piece! As every year, the pieces are worked on intensively for 8 days (in addition to a trio and a solo) and the premiere takes place at the end of the workshop.
From a compositional standpoint, the piece utilizes syncopated rhythms and natural harmonics, with a rock feel that was appreciated by the young participants.
