I continue my musical exploration of the rivers and waterways of Europe with a new piece for guitar trio entitled Cassibile, named after a river in Sicily. Its lively, spirited rhythm is inspired by the energy of the tarantella and evokes all the color and character of this Italian region.
This small river, approximately 50 kilometers long, rises in the Hyblaean Mountains before flowing into the sea near Syracuse.
