One of the original models of the Iberia series, the C5 is a full size acoustic nylon-string guitar with a solid Canadian Cedar top, Mahogany back and sides and a Pau Ferro fingerboard. Handmade in the traditional Spanish style, the C5 also features an all wood inlaid rosette, Pau Ferro binding, hand carved headstock, fan bracing system, and bone nut and saddle.

Cordoba C5

I was not sure what the guitar would be like and for me it is the first expensive guitar that I have bought. Although I know there are mush more expensive one out there, for me it is the most I have spent for one so far. I really like the feel of it and the sound is much more than I thought it would be.

Great place to buy instruments too, not just strings!

I have been looking to buy a classical guitar and decided to buy Cordoba C5. I was surprised to see that SBM sells instruments. I had several questions about buying the instrument and having it shipped; SBM was prompt with responses and was provided tracking for my order. Very happy with the great service, prompt communication and competitive prices. The guitar itself was packaged in 2 boxes. Internal box and then lot of air pockets, packing paper and sturdy outer box. The guitar came intact, sounded great.
