Guitar they are they played on:
Alvarez #AG60CE-8 Artist Grand Auditorium. Solid spruce top, mahogany laminate sides, mahogany neck, cutaway, electronics. Thinnish neck with a not super wide 1.75" nut, so it's fairly easy to play. The D and G strings are doubled with octave strings like on a 12-string.

Creator Description:
Custom guitar string set for an Alvarez 8-String Acoustic Guitar (non-baritone). Tuned EADGBE like a standard acoustic guitar plus has two additional "octave-up" strings that double the D and G. Great for when some jangle is desired without a 12-string guitar's tuning issues or girthy neck. All of the gauges are on the light side but that's how the instrument was designed (it arrived with super light strings). As such, it is best played with a medium or light pick, or a light touch.
