OK, on the World Market in strings there is NOT one single 7 String Set with an Unwound 4th String for serious lead guitar. They ALL have 4 Wound bottom strings for power chords in Metal, Goth, and Down-Tune Rock. That's OK for rhythm, but not for lead players. This set was created to flow in tension response, magnetic response and proper string vibration in sync for lead players giving the set an Unwound 4th instead of a Wound 4th in essence.
Also, the core of the wound 5th string is a touch larger than the unwound .017, so its magnetic response and vibration flows properly with the .017 unwound 4th. This is like a Light Top/Heavy Bottom Set all the way but geared to serious lead players rather than rhythm passages live and studio.

Altered Tunings:
1st E down one whole step to D
3rd G down one half step to F#
6th E down one whole step to D
7th B down one whole step to A
