Poor tone, but good find...
Review by Aldric W. on 15 May 2017 review stating Poor tone, but good find... The flamenco blend as listed leaves a lot to be desired. Really, the 1,2,3 trebles are too thick and stiff to be played confidently. I thought if i played them for at least two weeks, then maayyybe they'd break in, but by that time my technique would have changed unnecessarily and still no guarantee I would get the desired quality. With that being said, I play a Yamaha 171SF, which obviously is not a premier flamenco guitar. However, the real discovery is the bass strings are fantastic. And since this set came with extra trebles, I've since put the D'addario trebles on my guitar. This entire set produces great quality of flamenco sound. The 1/e string can "possibly" be upgraded to an extra tension D'addario for a stiffer feel, but I'd be nitpicking. Maybe with a higher quality guitar (really, mine isn't bad at all...)the flamenco blend would ring true so consider that as part of this review.
