What instrument are they played on: Greg Smallman and Sons Damon & Kym from the year 2023. It is a lattice brace guitar, with red western cedar for the top and Ziricote back and sides.

Creator Description: "The D’Addario basses are fantastic. They are not scratchy at all. I don’t have to adjust my plucking hand as much with this set to avoid that harsh scratchy sound I get with other brands. I really like the Savarez carbon strings on 2 & 3. The “G” string specifically sounds so powerful and on my guitar has a very warm tone. And lastly the Savarez Cristal 1st string is made of Nylon. I am not a fan of Carbon strings on the high E. It’s too bright for my taste. Most pieces have the melody on the 1st string and it's just such a natural feel and sound. It’s also really loud on my guitar and really stands out. Beautiful round, dark tones but can be bright sounding as well when needed. Normal tension is perfect for me. I used to use High Tension but with the Smallman, the volume difference is not much and Normal tension is much easier on my fretting hand."
