Creator Description: "I wanted a solid, rich bass sound (having played bass professionally for a few years), and also a brighter treble that would carry, as the instrument doesn’t overpower (probably my novice playing). The carbon Savarez strings’ description indicated that. The gold coating of the Hannabach basses softened the feel on my fingers, as far as I could tell."
