Ibanez RG 2005 heavily custom modded, mahogany body, Ibanez wizard II neck, humbucker pickups 4. Tuning: B F# B E A D
This phosphor bronze set is designed for BF#BEAD tuning, having a similar tone from one string to the next, calculated and tested bendability, keeping the strings as in tune sounding as possible for heavy pick attacks, and string core sizes accommodating electric guitar pickups. This set should work on acoustic but has only been tried on an electric guitar. Do not expect it to work as well as electric guitar strings without the following adjustments. It is recommend to minimally tilt your pickups bringing them closer (7mm) to the wound strings and farther (9.5mm) from the plain ones and apply small pieces of electrical tape under the E, A, and D strings where they make contact with the saddle.
