These strings took care of a problem on my favorite guitar. The slight lack of response was fixed by these strings. They were recommended by Zoran because we have the same guitar. Similar years too

I recommend these strings on a rich, beautiful sounding guitar with performance imperfections. On a guitar lacking beauty, these strings are not helpful. These are rather plain sounding.

I used these on an old cedar/EIR Hopf Madrid guitar. I bought the guitar used and it was set up a bit low for me and has a 660 scale. I installed my usual Augustine Blue set on the guitar but it lacked the power and sustain I was looking for. I put on these extra hard tension strings and she really came alive with high volume, good sustain and a beautiful blooming tone especially on the trebles. These strings just kept sounding better and better and still sounded good after over 8 months! That being said, I wouldn't use these on just any guitar. But if you have a guitar that's the right fit for these extra high tension strings give these a try and they might just make your guitar come alive.

Always a joy getting strings from these guys. Like I said before, never going to another place again.
