Glad I found a premium .017 wound to replace the G (3rd string) in my 10-46 sets ... I have always had a "hate/hate" relationship with plain 3rd string ... these have WAY better tone and sustain, just have to adjust pressure and feel when string bending. Love 'em !!!

Good string, long life as with the NYXL line of strings. I like the 17, because it gives me that extra option for a wound string, and I don't like to mess with a very thick plain string. I use this string for pedal steel guitar, and am pleased with the results. When these strings seem to be wearing out, all you have to do is wipe the grime / sweat off of them, and you're ready to go for another round.
