Beneath the arcades of the old square in Sos, in the heart of Lot-et-Garonne, this composition was born.
Sheltered under the ancient vaults, a pause came almost naturally, in front of the discreet sign of an antique shop.
A few simply set tables invited one to sit down for a moment, over a coffee or tea, in a suspended atmosphere.
There, in the softness of a still wintry light, time seemed to slow its course. Objects, furniture, and old tableware—so many familiar presences—stirred a singular emotion, like an echo from childhood.
“Café-brocante” was born from this fragile moment, poised between memory and the present, where memories surface quietly, simply waiting to be noticed.
