Dogal bass strings

More of an update than review, I now only use Dogal bass strings both round wound and flats on my basses, I have finally got the strings I have searched for

Round, Punchy, and Full

Best 45-105 set I've ever played. They feel much lighter than their gauges would suggest, but don't lack any of the sound. Surprisingly soft under the fingers, attack is warm but clear, and since I put them on my bass I haven't been able to put it down. Don't be put off by the price - with Dogal you really get what you pay for.

Dogal CS90C 45-105 roundwound

If you were sitting on the fence with these strings, hop off. a little expensive but worth the price, everything Mario said and more, a little less tension than most, a lot smoother than most roundwound under the fingers, the best I have ever used, and I have used most brands, the G string length is at 36 and 3/4 to where string narrows same as Labella so perfect for old fender length, excellent choice

Fantastic

I installed these strings on my Bacchus Woodline; the bass literally came to life. Great articulation, the best highs I have ever heard. The lows can rattle your teeth and midrange has serious character. Great strings and well worth the price.
