Dogal for Cantini

These are the recommended strings for Cantini 5-string violins in order to have equal volume between strings. The lower strings are still a little louder but this can be fixed with EQ. There are better, longer-lasting metal strings but Carlo Cantini recommends these so there you have it.

5 string viola set Dogal

I am a professional violinist, who also is a wedding and social event Gig player. I play an electric five string viola. I was curious to try strings that are a bit different than what is on my electric instrument now, and I came up to Dogal website.
The service I received was truly outstanding. The strings were packaged in a real box in their original packaging. The strings themselves are amazing. Though nowhere near as soft as the Thomastik on my acoustic violin, these strings sound great on my Electric. It is interesting that they barely stretched out at all and are staying in tune after only two days on the instrument.

Bravo, to both strings by mail and Dogal.

fllow up on string review

My C string snapped after 2 weeks of light play, which is weird, its usually my E string ............other then that they sound pretty good after a break in period.

I priced the 5 steel strings for Cantini electric violin (E170 Dogal) set at other websites and could not believe SBM had them for 1/2 the cost. I will order here again. Definitely.
