Just what we needed!

Dogal Hr136 Calace Mandolin Strings

Have a flatwound feel and playability, but the brightness of roundwound strings. Very nice, and a good price, too.

Q: Hi,

Are these Dogal HR136 strings available in medium tension or only in strong? I'm guessing not since you only have the forte's listed, but I thought I'd ask just in case since I'd be interested in trying a set out. I love the carbon steel Calace's on my vega cylinder back, but on my new old bowl back, they're a sounding a touch too harsh and these half rounds seemed like they might be a way to mellow things out slightly without going all the way to flat wound strings. ??

Anyway, just a shot in the dark. No worries if they're not available.
