No Friction. Great Tone and Comfort.
Review by Djerek K. on 14 Apr 2026 review stating No Friction. Great Tone and Comfort. I had been using Tortex Flow picks for a time, and I find the Flow shape to be ideal for me, not as big and cumbersome as the Standard, and not too small like the Jazz III. But in recent experimentation I found the Tortext material to feel like it caused drag on the strings; in contrast the Flow Standard feels like it just glides across the strings freely. I find that it feels like there's really no friction at all when going for speed, yet I still have all the tonal nuance I go for in general. Additionally, this has texture, unlike the flat Tortex Flow, so grip is better. I've tried so very many picks over the decades, and at least for me, the Flow Standard is the best design for my style of playing so far.
