Converted 4 String Bass to 5 String Tuning

I ordered this single Elixir .130 bass for an experiment. I've wanted to add a 5 string bass to my collection for some time, but the difference in neck width kept me from moving forward. Then I got the idea to convert my trusty Ibanez SR 500 bass from a traditional 4 string to a "modified 5 string" (BEAD tuning). So far the experiment has been a success, as I really enjoy having the extended low range (and don't really miss the G string - yet). I've been using Elixir string for several years and just like the feel and warm tone, so this was kind of a natural for me.
