PDF DIGITAL DOWNLOAD
Mauro Giuliani’s “Qual mesto gemito” is an arrangement for flute or violin and guitar by Giuliani of the famous quintet “Qual mesto gemito” from Rossini’s opera Semiramide. The opera was first performed in Venice in 1823, and Giuliani’s arrangement was first published in Milan in about 1827. It is here presented in a new modern re-engraved edition, score and parts, ready for performance, urtext and authentic, based strictly on the original editions with no modern elements or fingering introduced.
If you purchase this item you will receive a zip file containing the score with both instruments, and a separate part for the flute or violin, newly re-engraved for this edition from the original publication.
