Master guitarist, arranger, and composer Hand has embraced all music, from Baroque to jazz, and has contributed to the modern culture in TV and films (Kramer vs Kramer and Sesame Street, for example). Cantiga De Santa Maria is based on a song from the 13th century. The modal melody and irregular time meters suggested a modern harmonic setting.
