Although these strings say med....

Although these strings say medium tension, I found them to be a lot higher than other brands of strings that say medium tension. Apparently this is common for the Hannabach guages to be thicker than average. The strings themselves were not bad - the trebles had a great sound even though they are a little on the thicker side. The basses were ok but I found them to be less responsive and difficult to play fast falsettas with ligados. I have been playing flamenco guitar for a couple of years so I am by no means at a professional level but for me I think there are better strings out there for the money.
