The c1 and g2 strings were a bit defected. I contacted stringsbymail and they replace the whole set.

These strings are perfect for reproducing the warmth of classic ouds on 61-63 cm Arabic instruments. I've tried tempered nylon, nylgut, and Aquila's new sugar bioplastic, but nothing compares to the sound and feel of real gut. This is my go-to set going forward.

The one thing I would say is I wish it was possible to buy individual strings or courses since natural gut trebles are likely to wear out much faster than wound basses. Buying an entire set at $130 every time the gut trebles wear out is something that most players simply can't afford and will put people off from trying the set to begin with.
