Galli UXB810 Black Nylon Tapewound Ukulele Bass Strings - 23" scale

These strings are great! They're comfortable and so easy to put on my ukulele bass compared to the stretchy, rubber strings that came on the bass. And it seems to intonate much better with these strings! I'll definitely be buying more in the future!

Sound terrible- both amped and acoustic. Very metallic. High tension. Worried about my uke. Kills your fingers. Had them 2 weeks and went back to Thunderguts. Not for me! Maybe for you….

I put these on a Mitchell ezb super short scale bass. They were barely long enough but work and sound great.

These are the perfect strings to replace those rubber bands that usually come with bass ukuleles. They have a deep, warm tone like the rubber, but with better definition. And you can actually tune them, and they stay in tune. And because they're thinner, you can lower the action to a reasonable height. Now it feels like I'm playing a real bass guitar.

I was expecting “tape wound” strings to be smooth, as other tape wound strings I’ve bought have been, put these are round wound with a black color finish added. They should be called "round wound with a black finish," not tape wound. I find them too tinny sounding and very much dislike the round wound zing with the slightest finger movement. I’m extremely disappointed.
