These strings were easy to install, they sound great, and playing feels nicer. .

I have two of the tempers on two different ukulele’s one a tenor ukulele high G and on a long neck soprano. The strings on the tenor gave it some much needed warmth and tone and a sound that I wanted from the tenor ukulele. The long neck soprano needed some more warmth and depth it took the tiny sound I had away and replaced it with a sound I was looking for, for this little ukulele. I recommend these strings and stings by mail are outstanding

Worth Brown Fluoro-carbon Tenor strings are, to my ears and fingers, terrific. They have a presence that I have not found in other strings, a feeling that is at once easy-going and powerful. I don't mean to badmouth other strings, but in direct A/B comparison with these some other well-regarded strings simply feel less "alive".

As to the vendor. When I ordered this set, I made a mistake. I meant to order Low G set. Despite these being clearly labelled as High G, I goofed. Did not realize it until they arrived in the mail a couple days later. My first thought was "oh but well, don't worry, be happy, High G is fine. " But really, it wasn't what I wanted. So I looked at the Strings By Mail site again. Lo and behold, they sell SINGLE Worth Brown Fluoro-Carbon strings! I ordered and installed the single string, and the uke sounds great. (By the way, they are installed on an Enya Nova. An interesting uke, but with a tendency to sound a little bit thin and tinkly. These strings have really changed the basic sound. )
