I ordered strings for a friend's bday - I put an incorrect city on the order - the strings got returned to Strings by Mail - when they got the corrected address - they sent them at no cost to me! I've been buying my strings exclusively from SBM for 2 or 3 years now. The $4 shipping option is the most economical and fastest out there and the handwritten "thank you" on every order makes me smile every time. Any time I need something guitar related I check SBM first. You guys are THE BEST!
I started buying strings from strings by mail when they told me they could order Dean Markley Blue Steel strings in my custom guages I use. Now they have them in singles so I can order when I need and I can modify my guages as I feel.
This was my first purchase with Strings By Mail but it won't be my last. Everything I ordered was sent in perfect condition. There was a nice handwritten note from Holly. I was wondering if I should order a bunch of guitar stuff just before the Xmas season (you know, mail delays, stuff not in stock, the weather etc). Well, I worried for nothing. Everything arrived before the Xmas break. One set of strings was not in stock so was back ordered, even that parcel made it before the start of the new year. Way to go Strings by Mail. Very friendly on the phone also :)
