These strings work well on my short scale Ibanez acoustic bass.

These strings on my 25" scale acoustic bass have great intonation and sound very good. They replace the phosphobronze nylon core strings that came on the guitar that sound too "clanky". I then tried them on my 23" scale acoustic bass with the same great results! Definitely a very good replacement for both the bronze and rubber strings that came on each guitar. . . . also, strings by mail service is excellent!

Great strings- fast delivery

Despite some information floating around about these not technically being made for the Ibanez short scale acoustic basses, they are actually FANTASTIC and are a perfect match. This was the second set for my bass as I wanted to give it a bit of a refresh after a few years. They will definitely wear over time with some minor corrosion and fret indentation, but the tone remains strong. They need about a week to stretch before they are tuning stable, but once they settle they are solid as a rock. If you play your bass amplified you’ll appreciate that they aren’t as noisy under the fingers as metallic strings and they have a very pleasant tone. I have no reason to use anything else on my bass I’m sure if you’re reading this you’ll discover the same thing.
