Et moi tellement translated to English means: And me so much. Uh...okay...With that being said, Guy-Jean has come up with a nice little winner here. Written in the haunting key of Emin, it is a fitting substitute for the anonymous Romance that's been played to death be every level of classical guitarist. It's also a much easier piece and just as effective. The melody is carried on the upper e string with accompanying 8th notes and dotted 1/2 notes in the bass for sonority. No technical difficulties on this one except for some---on bar 22, the dreaded low g (1) to b (4) on the e string stretch. If you want a little melancholy and new romance to play under a damsels window in the moonlight, Guy-Jean gives us sweet a little number to replace ---dare I say---the tired old Romance.
