Magma BE150N Nickel Plated Steel Electric Bass Strings, Light 40-100

I recently switched from using 45-105 gauged strings to 40-100. The Magma BE150N set have a good tension to them, nice low end, mids if you want them, and with my modern amp, really cut through. Nice clarity. I’ve tried the similar 5-string set with parallel results. I’m currently testing all their strings right now just for my own knowledge. Thumbs up on their stainless Steel, Tapewound, and I’m super impressed with Magma’s AMALGAM phosphor bronze+ stainless steel flats. They sound killer on a ‘62 fender bass. The strings are made in Argentina, and believe me, your best bet is buying them from Strings by Mail. SBM has the best deals consistently. I recommend this product. ☮️
