I composed the piece “Komar v Rakija” (Mosquito in Rakija) especially for Zoran Dukić’s new recording project.
The works selected for this project were required to address, directly or indirectly, the theme of alcohol. What was missing, however, was a piece evoking our traditional Balkan spirit: rakija, which holds a very important place in the folklore and everyday life of the region.
