Ourkouzounov | Trois Balkanesques for solo guitar

My first exposure to Ourkouzounov was found on Denis Azabagic's amazing 'Out of Africa' disc. I was so enamored of his Folk Song Variations, I purchased the sheet music and have enjoyed it since.

Now on my radar, Ourkouzounov's music grabs my attention as presented. I was captivated with the YouTube presentation of his Trois Balkanesques and that day purchased the score from Strings by Mail. This piece has been on my music stand for a few weeks now.

An uphill climb for me, it has been a pleasure in its beauty and the unfolding logic of its structure. I do not see this going back to my library any time soon.
