Great advice and perfect strings for Favilla balalaika 6 string

I was given a lovely old balalaika- a Favilla six string from the 1920s. I wanted to use nylon strings and set it up as DdBBEE. Matt gave wonderful advice and the strings are perfect. The old instrument has a new life. The playing is sweet. The sound is lovely.
