Savarez Argentine strings are the de facto standard for gypsy guitar players. the weak link is the G string that has a tendency to "dead" sooner than the rest. Strings by Mail to the rescue ;-) it's nice to;

Besides that Strings By Mail is one of the few places that sell gypsy jazz string sets of all types, they are one of the very few places that sell the individual strings. I had a 1st (e) string break on me while playing at a jam and had to quickly change it by "borrowing" one from another set I had with me. By being able to replace that one string, I saved an entire set. SBM is also an excellent supplier of full sets at very reasonable prices. Lastly, their shipping charges are very reasonable compared to other suppliers. I will be using them from now on and I suggest that you do too.
