Her technique gives flair to such pastoral pieces as John Duarte's 'Appalachian Dreams.' Toru Takemitsu's 'Londonderry Air' is a Japanese take on the traditional Irish ballad 'Danny Boy.' Dance rhythms seep into many of the works, such as the melancholy samba within Padre Jose Antonio's Preludio No. 6.
