Using on Collings MT Mandola

Using on Collings MT Mandola & Weber Gallatin Mandola. Wonderful strings. But pricey!

I love these strings!

I play octave mandolin in a mandolin orchestra. These strings give a consistently clear sound for playing individual notes and sound excellent while doing tremolo. And the flat wounds allow your fingers to slide easily up and down the strings. Nice warm sound as well!

Smoooth

These flat wound strings produce warm, mellow tones, up and down the neck, bringing out the best of your instrument. The flat wound construction lasts twice as long as common wound metal strings. I use them on my Herb Taylor octave mandolin with a 19. 5" (495mm) scale.

Finest Strings Available!

A Luthier told me "Your Mandolin is a Ferrari but your stings are like Regular Gas!" His recommendation - Thomastik-Infield. They play like silk, stay in tune and are easier on your fingers. And, they last long enough to justify the price!
