This homage is my little tribute to the Paraguayan guitarist-composer Agustin Barrios Mangoré, whose music has been such an enjoyable part of my musical life ever since the Venezuelan guitarist Alirio Diaz introduced me to it in the 1950’s. Barrios loved using the third string melodically and I have done the same where possible; in general I do not like putting much fingering, only when it is important to the musical sense.
