This lovely hybrid guitar, suitable for both classical and flamenco repertoire, by the highly regarded Australian luthier John Price offers players the best of both worlds: a powerful classical guitar with a beautiful tone, and a fast, punchy flamenco guitar, all in one instrument. Playability is a dream with low action and a comfortable neck shape. The guitar can be pushed hard before the basses growl, so classical players can maximize the volume without worry of fret buzz. In addition, there is a clear golpeadore which allows for rasgueado, golpe, and other techniques without risking damage to the top. The spruce top has a lovely reddish tint to the finish, making it appear more like a traditional Spanish guitar, and the Tasmanian Myrtle on the back and sides is absolutely stunning in appearance. This guitar is in excellent condition with practically no playing wear at all. Many well-known concert artists have played on John Price guitars including Muriel Anderson, George Benson, Jorge Caballero, Ricardo Cobo, Ricardo Iznaola, Rene Izquierdo, Jorge Morel, and Andy Summers (the Police).
