Underwater is a fluid and repetitive piece written in a three-quarter beat with the same rhythm obtained all over the line by a constant pimami-style right hand fingering.
This piece has rather a modal character.
Underwater was created during a music acadamy performance with the theme "Underwater World."
One of my students, Heleen Schrever, agreed to play this piece and so I dedicated it to her.
