Sweeter Tones

Many of my guitars have really hot pickups, which are perfect for hard rock and some metal. But on some gigs I need a more authentic retro, vintage 60s/70s tone.
I have found that PURE nickel strings really soften the edge and take away the harshness. Not to mention they will save you frets from early ware. I've tried several brands of nickel strings, and like Fruit Stripe Gum they taste good at first but the flavor is gone quickly. This brand has the longest life I have found. Give these a try and get that Joe Walsh/ Bad Co. tone that makes ya smile!
